The Hanover Tavern is located at 13181 Hanover Courthouse Rd, Hanover, VA 23069. There is ample parking both in the direct lot attached to the Tavern and the overflow parking lot across the street behind the historic courthouse and other county buildings. This hotel linked under "Travel" is about 15 minutes from the Tavern. There are also plenty of Airbnb & VRBOs within the Mechanicsville, Ashland and Hanover neighborhood searches.

Both! We hope the weather cooperates and allows an outdoor cocktail hour and an indoor/outdoor reception.

Feel free to lean into semi-formal or dressy cocktail.

Although we love your little ones, this is an adult only reception.

We kindly ask for your punctuality at or before 5:45PM as being on time will ensure that you don't miss out on our introduction (just before sunset at 6:15PM) followed by cocktail hour, dinner, drinks and dancing! A friendly reminder that our reception is on a Friday, not a Saturday.

Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
