After an awesome weekend in Lake Geneva , Peter asked Ania if she’d like to get a birthday dinner in Wilmette, where he allegedly had a friend that became GM at a “really nice Italian restaurant.” On their way there, shockingly, somehow the reservation was bumped an hour late. Peter suggested that they stop at a college favorite spot of theirs, the Bahá'í House of Worship on Sheridan road. It’s a gorgeous building along Lake Michigan’s coast, next to the beach. They’ve shared many peaceful, mindful moments there in the past. Ania had a suspecting feeling that Peter’s plans were right on point, and life was about to get even more lovie together. With Ania’s favorite photographer, Kasia Jarosz, hiding in the garden waiting for their arrival -seconds away from the proposal - Peter took Ania’s hand and walked her up the stairs into a golden sunset. He bent on one knee, heart racing, and asked Ania to marry him. She said very much yes (all the yeses), and they celebrated among a crowd of strangers that applauded their love. Kasia captured some beautiful, silly, lovie moments in the garden. Afterwards, they crossed the street and walked barefoot on the beach and in the crashing waves of the lake. They sat in the sand and soaked in the joy that was relieving them of all their nerves - it was the feeling of The Loviest Love. That warm summer night, the sky bright with tones of pink, gold and wonder, was the start of a new chapter.
