Our theme for tying the knot is inspired by the popular Medieval fantasy game Dungeons & Dragons! We are encouraging all guests to wear a medieval fantasy costume. This can include many things: from simple gowns and vests, to full on paint and prosthetics!
Most of our guests already own this garb as a result of their participation in a common battle game. But for family and other friends, don't worry! Garb does not have to break the bank, and some clothes you already own can be used! The following notes and images will hopefully help you navigate some costuming decisions, and join us as we begin our new adventure!
First things first, what items work in medieval fantasy: layering multiple skirts (especially patterned or ruched ones), blouses, laced vests, hoods, linen tunics, pants, or shirts, vests, belts (and lots of em), boots or sandals, crowns, coronets, wide brim hats, feathers, and more!
