Laissez les bons temps rouler!
New Orleans is a great place to see the sights and have fun! Here are just some of the many things to do:
• Hear authentic live jazz at Preservation Hall and then head next door to drink Cyclones and Purple People Eaters in the Pat O'Brien's piano bar
• Ride the St. Charles Avenue streetcar roundtrip to eat The Camellia Grill and see Academy of the Sacred Heart along the ride
• Experience The National WWII Museum
and its "Beyond All Boundaries" 4D movie
• Eat your way through the French Quarter (muffulettas at Central Grocery and beignets at Café du Monde)
• Grab a drink and tour the French Quarter on a relaxing carriage ride (carriages usually available for hire every day in front of Jackson Square)
• Ride the Canal Street Ferry back and forth across the Mississippi River (board for only $2.00 at the foot of Canal Street) and then visit the nearby recently-renovated Audubon Aquarium
For food, drink, and fun near the hotel, consider these:
