Feel free to wear what you are comfortable in! We would love for guests to dress up a little bit, but this is by no means a formal wedding! Sundresses and a shirt and slacks are perfectly acceptable! Anna is in the horse industry, so “western business attire” or a button up shirt with jeans and boots is also absolutely acceptable. Please don’t feel the need to go out and buy something fancy for this event!

Unfortunately, Taharaa is a pretty small venue, so while we would love to offer rooms to all of our guests, it just isn’t possible. We have a page on the website with a few recommendations on where to stay. There are many options for lodging that should work for pretty much any budget and style you choose!

If you are invited to our wedding, you are also included in the cocktail hour and reception to follow! Our venue is all inclusive, so all wedding day events will take place at Taharaa Mountain Lodge. No transportation will be needed between the ceremony and other events.

Yes! All of our guests should be able to park directly in the Taharaa Mountain Lodge parking lot. If you have the ability to carpool, that would be appreciated!

We will be providing cocktail hour snacks after the ceremony. A full dinner will be provided at the reception! Mixed drinks, wine, and beer will also be available to guests. We should have options for vegetarians, but if you have any severe allergies or are a vegan please let us know so that we can accommodate you appropriately!

We have hired an absolutely wonderful photographer to document our day! As such, we do not want people getting their phones out during the ceremony. We ask that you please stay present in the moment with us! You are absolutely welcome to take photos with us and of the special day any other time. Our photographer will be providing a link to all of the photos after the wedding, and we will be sure to distribute it to anyone that wants it!
