We recommend flying into Split, Croatia (aka Resnik Airport “Zračna luka Resnik “) and taking the ferry or speedboat to Hvar. The hotel chain Suncani Hvar Hotel that we recommend everyone stays at can arrange transfer services from the Split Airport to the hotel in Hvar (Amfora, Hvar Grand Beach Resort is the hotel we are staying at and recommend).

Transfer Service Through Suncani Hvar Hotels

They can arrange both standard and VIP transfer services to get your right from the Split Airport to your hotel in Hvar.
Standard Transfers Through Hotel
For standard transfers, they are available for those arriving to Split airport before 7:00 pm and departing from Split airport after 9:00 am, every day. Included: minibus / bus transfer from Split airport to Split harbour, ticket for the regular fast catamaran or ferry line , minibus / bus transfer on island Hvar if needed from Stari Grad to Hvar, and from Hvar port to your hotel, operational service with our representatives and luggage porters at Split airport and harbours of Split, Stari Grad and Hvar. If You Are Not Booking Transfer Through the Hotel

By far, the easiest and most convenient way to get from Split to Hvar (and Hvar to Split) is by ferry.
Ferries and catamarans service the Split to Hvar route up to 18 times per day (depending on your route) during the peak summer periods (June - September)
There are three companies that service the Split to Hvar route, Jadrolinija, Krilo (Kapetan Luka), TP Line. Tickets for the Jadrolinija, Krilo, TP Line ferry can be booked direct.
The Split to Hvar ferry route is extremely busy during the height of summer, so recommend booking at least 24 hours prior.
Alternatively, tickets can be purchased in Split at the tourism centre on Split Riva, opposite Diocletian’s Palace, or at the ticket booths further down the Port of Split. We strongly recommend to book your ticket only to avoid long waits.

SPLIT AIRPORT TO HVAR ISLAND
How to get from Split airport to ferry port:
There are a regular bus as well as fast ferry airport shuttle service between the ferry port and the Split airport which is about 30 kilometres away from here. The cheapest price for a one-way ticket is 60 HRK (about 8 Euro).
The alternative is to take or pre-book a taxi from the Airport which will cost you about 40-60 Euro one way. Another option is to get a Uber from the airport or from the ferry port.

ONCE YOU ARRIVE TO HVAR:
The price for taxis cost about 150 Kuna (cca 20 Euros) from Hvar Port to Hotel, however if you are staying at the following hotels: Amphora, Adrianna or Palace Elisabeth, you can leave your luggage at the Hvar port with their concierge service (they are standing on the left side with hotel signs) and walk to the hotel.
You can also book a transfer directly with hotel once you make your reservation.
Cheaper Flight & Longer Ferry
If you are looking for a cheaper flight option, flights into Dubrovnik Airport (Čilipi Airport) may be cheaper. The ferry only runs 3 times a day in June & July, at 7am, 3:15pm, and 4:15pm. You would then take a 3.5 hr boat ride to Hvar from there, which is approximately 38 to 45 Euros. Please look at the link for more info!

All of the Suncani Hotels are beautiful, but some things to keep in mind:
- Beach Bay Hvar Hotel is a bit longer of a walk to the venue (15-20 mins)
- Palace Elisabeth Hvar Heritage Hotel is more luxurious and the most expensive of the options
