Can I drive to the wedding venue?

No, there is very limited parking at our wedding venue, which will be reserved for our vendors. We have hired shuttles to take all guests to and from the venue. See shuttle pick up times and locations below.

    Our shuttle times will be very tight, so please read this and plan accordingly.    *If you miss the shuttle, there will be no way for you to get to the wedding venue!*   - For guests driving over for the wedding and then going home, staying with local family and friends, or staying at an airbnb/VRBO - Your shuttle will pick you up in the parking lot of the Covenant Church (455 Frankton Rd., Hood River, OR 97031) at 3:45 PM. Please get to the parking lot by 3:40. This is the only pickup time for the church parking lot. We have rented the entire upper church parking lot for our guests, so please park your car there, and get on the shuttle. You are welcome to leave your car in the church parking lot overnight if needed. Cars must be removed from the church parking lot on August 4th, before 8:30 AM.   -For guests staying at a hotel, please see your shuttle pick up time below:   Hood river hotel: Pick up time 3:00 PM, bus will depart at 3:10 PM.   Hampton Inn Hood River: Pick up time 3:15 PM, bus will depart at 3:25 PM.   Best Western Hood River: Pick up time 3:30 PM, bus will depart at 3:35 PM.   Columbia Cliff Villas: Pick up time 3:40 PM, bus will depart at 3:45 PM.   Columbia Gorge Hotel and Spa: Pick up time 3:45 PM, bus will depart at 3:50 PM.   West Cliff Lodge: Pick up time 3:50 PM, bus will depart at 3:55 PM.   All guests will be dropped off at the Griffin House at 4:00 PM.   ***For hotel guests staying at the Sunset Motel, Holiday Inn or Comfort Inn, we ask that you join the airbnb guests at the Covenant Church parking lot and take that shuttle to the venue. The shuttle buses will not be stopping at your hotel***   -For those who do not wish to stay at the reception until it ends at 10 PM, we will have an early shuttle pick up at the Griffin House at 8:30pm. The early shuttle will drop guests back off at the both the Covenant church and hotels.    -After the wedding, we will have two buses taking people directly from Griffin House to our after party location. If you plan to join us at the after party, please get on one of the buses going directly to the bar. A third bus will transport guests back to the Covenant church parking lot, and a fourth bus will drive guests back to their hotel.    Please text Anna (509) 939-1070 with any questions or concerns regarding our shuttle process or getting to our wedding venue.    Thank you!  

Can I bring a plus one?

Unfortunately, due to space limitations, we can't allow for all of our guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation.

Are children welcome?

To allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our special day adults only. We thank you for your understanding.

Is there a dress code?

We want our guests to get all dressed up with us! We kindly ask for semi-formal attire such as a cocktail-length dress for women and a light weight suit and tie for men. Please note that the venue does not permit blue jeans or sneakers. It is typically very warm in Hood River in the summer months.

When is the RSVP Deadline?

Please RSVP by June 30th, 2024. If we do not hear from you by that date, you will be marked as "declined" and will not be provided a chair or a meal.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our ceremony will be held outdoors, on the lawn of the Griffin House. Cocktail hour will be outdoors on a terrace. The reception will be held under a covered tent that is open to air. It can be very windy at our venue, please plan accordingly.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Dinner will be served family style, and our caterer can accommodate for various diet preferences and allergies. Please note any dietary requests on your online RSVP.

Will there be an open bar?

We will be providing a welcome champagne toast. Our bar will be open to all beer, wine, seltzer, and two signature cocktails.

What time will your wedding reception end?

Our wedding reception will end promptly at 10 pm per venue policy. Shuttles will transport all guests from the venue back to their original shuttle pick up locations in downtown Hood River. We welcome any and all who want to continue the celebration with us at our after party location!

If I am attending the after party, is there a taxi service I can call to get me back to my lodging at the end of the night?

There are very few taxis available in the city of Hood River. The few that are available can be booked at the following website: hoodriverpedicab.com. They are taking reservations for August currently, so if you do anticipate wanting a taxi ride back to your hotel or airbnb, we highly suggest booking now.

Please note, the afterparty location is walkable to most of the hotels in downtown Hood River.
