Travel/Where to Stay
Getting to Hood River
Portland International Airport
Hood River is an easy, and beautiful, one hour drive from the Portland airport along the Columbia river.
Rental Cars
Renting a car from the Portland airport is the easiest option. Check out Turo for more affordable rentals!
Taxi/Ride Share
Cars from the airport should be around $100. However, there are NO taxis, Ubers or Lyfts available in Hood River to get you back to the airport. We highly recommend taking the bus or renting a vehicle for the weekend.
From Seattle
Take I-5 South until you hit Portland, then follow signs for Rte 30/I-84. Sometimes Google Maps will want to take you over the pass and through Yakima—we do not recommend this route.
Where to Stay
Booking accommodations in Hood River:
We recommend booking accommodations as soon as possible, as Hood River is a very popular summer destination. Hotels recommend booking before January 2024!
Please keep in mind that there are NO ride services (taxi, Uber, Lyft) in Hood River. Please plan to stay walking distance from downtown if you want to avoid driving.
We will be providing shuttle services on wedding day between downtown Hood River, our wedding venue, and the after party location.
Airbnb Hood River
If you plan to book an airbnb for our wedding weekend, we recommend booking ASAP! Most properties are already booked for the dates of our wedding weekend.
VRBO Hood River
If you plan to stay in a VRBO during our wedding weekend, please consider booking your stay ASAP!
Hood River Hotel
We have 15 rooms reserved here on a first come, first serve basis. Please use the link provided above to reserve your room. These rooms are only blocked for Friday and Saturday night (August 2 - August 3). Call the hotel directly if you would like to reserve your room for Thursday or Sunday night as well.

This is a very popular hotel in downtown Hood River, close to our venue. This will be one of the hotels our wedding shuttle bus stops at. You can reserve rooms here for wedding weekend starting in August 2023.
Westcliff Lodge
This is a popular, more budget friendly hotel just outside of downtown Hood River. It is right next to our venue. This will be one of the hotels our wedding shuttle bus stops at. You can reserve rooms here for wedding weekend starting in October 2023.
Columbia Gorge Hotel & Spa
This is a very popular hotel just outside of downtown Hood River, very close to our venue. This will be one of the hotels our wedding shuttle bus stops at. You can reserve rooms here for wedding weekend starting in September 2023.
Columbia Cliff Villas Hotel
This is a very popular hotel just outside of downtown Hood River, very close to our venue. You can reserve rooms here for wedding weekend starting in August 2023. This hotel is currently taking reservations for our wedding weekend.
