The Walters Art Museum is an amazing way to spend an afternoon! It holds a special place in our heart, as it was the location of our first date! Located right next to the Peabody and Hotel Indigo we highly recommend you make time to visit. Admission is free!
What used to be the only Guinness brewery in the US, the Guinness Open Gate Brewery is a nice way to spend an afternoon. If you plan it out in advance, you can schedule a tour - but they fill up quickly. We haven't made it to the Chicago location yet, but if you've visited both, let us know what you think!
Nick's Fish House is where Anna, Audrey and CJ all tried their first raw oyster! If you're making an extended trip, Ocean City, MD is a great way to visit the beach for those that have never seen the Atlantic Ocean. The further south on the peninsula, closer to the boardwalk, the crazier things get for the younger crowd. Overall, it will be more crowded over the holiday week / weekend, so plan accommodations early if you're interested!
Shenandoah National Park needs to be on everyone's bucket list. Joe and his dad, Scott, spent a week camping here and it holds a special place in his heart. Being about three hours south of Baltimore, consider spending a few days here or even just taking a drive down Skyline Drive.
