Flying?

There are two airports:

Belfast International Airport- It takes around 40 minutes to drive from the airport to the city centre. The 300 bus takes you from the front of the airport to Europa Bus station in the heart of Belfast. Car hire and private taxis are also an option. However, a taxi from this airport will set you back at least £30.

• George Best ,Belfast City Airport- This airport is much closer to the city centre. The 600 bus will transport you there in 17 minutes, and will collect you from the front of the airport. Taxis will cost around £15, and you can hire cars from here too. However, there are less flights in a day so it is often more expensive to fly here.

You can use the translink website and download the apps to see timetables, track, and pay for bus fares.

Coming from Dublin Airport? The Aircoach will take you into Belfast in 1hr 50mins. Please book online at least 48hrs in advance to secure a seat on the coach.

Taxi?

Most taxi services in Belfast are private and will not stop if you try and flag them down. The exception being black taxis, but be wary of these as they can overcharge.

ValueCab and FonaCab are the largest private taxi firms. You can book by calling or by downloading their apps. Of course, there is always an Uber.

Parking?

If your accommodation doesn't have parking facilities, don't worry. There are many car parks in the city, and you can find them all on Parkopedia.

Many are now cashless so you'll need to pay via your phone or download the app specific to the car park.
