Ian and Anna started their journey at graduate school in Boulder, Colorado. Anna first met Ian at a dinner party that she was hosting for a group of friends. The dinner party had a few unexpected guests, one of whom was Ian. Luckily, Anna had prepared plenty of food to go around.

In an attempt to spend more time together, Ian looked past his fear of heights and started indoor rock climbing with Anna. Together, Anna and Ian learned the ropes of outdoor rock climbing and protected each other’s lives on the wall. After a year of knowing one another, Anna and Ian realized that they should probably be romantic partners in addition to being climbing partners. Since their first date, Anna and Ian have travelled the world, climbed many rocks, snowboarded, hiked, biked, kayaked, skied, adopted a dog, and generally had a great time pushing each other to new limits time and again. Anna and Ian plan to keep adventuring with each other for the rest of their lives.
