Jacob and Anna met each other back in 2021 via social media. Jacob was living near the twin cities while Anna was in the process of moving back to her hometown. They say the best things happen when you least expect it and boy, were they right. As fate would have it they both swiped right and our journey began! Their first date was at the movies followed by a delicious meal at Raising Canes (Anna's Favorite!) They were both so incredibly nervous. (I remember praying the entire night that he would hold my hand, yet it took him until the very end of the night to do it!- Anna) After months of both traveling back and forth for dates, Jake decided to take the leap and move up to Sauk Rapids. Over the next few months, they spent time getting to know each others fun and crazy families as well as getting to know each other better. Eventually, they finished off their first summer together with a bang! We got some exciting but nerve wracking news that Anna was pregnant with their son Sullivan. Over the next nine months, their relationship bloomed into a beautiful partnership and they grew closer than either of them realized was possible. Who knew you could love someone this much? As the year passed, they got to experience many family holidays. birthdays, rain filled movie days and so much more. In December of 2023, some of Anna's family took a trip down to DisneyWorld in Orlando for a Christmas family vacation (or so Anna thought) Right In front of Cinderella's Castle, Jacob got down on one knee and asked Anna to marry him. It was the most magical moment that either had ever experienced. Now, we are on the path to planning the perfect wedding for us and we couldn't be more thrilled. Not only to be married to each other but to celebrate with all of our loved ones! - A&amp;J

Obbink distilling is the newest spot in St.joe! Tucked away in the quiet town of St. Joseph, Minnesota, Obbink Distilling is working on a classified mission to launch its space-aged spirits into orbit. Inside the Testing Facility is where you’ll find the whiskey pioneer and former Mechanical Satellite Engineer for the Earth and Space Sciences Division, Gregg Obbink, testing his latest batch. With years of extensive satellite testing experience, working with NASA, and even sending the Curiosity Rover to Mars, Obbink is no stranger to pushing the boundaries and reimagining what’s possible. After retiring in 2008, he brought his passion for science and spirits together to reimagine the way whiskey has been made for thousands of years. And he didn’t waste any time tinkering and experimenting with accelerating time itself — leading him to develop his proprietary method for speeding up the aging process from years to just days. The end result? Space-aged spirits fueled by curiosity for down-to-earth people with a rich taste that’s years beyond its age. And you can get a taste of the Obbink Distilling experience when you visit the Testing Facility located in St. Joseph, Minnesota.

Krewe specializes in the best southern cuisine specifically stemming from New Orleans. They are located in the heart of St Joseph surrounded by other amazing businesses such as The Wandering Cow ice cream, Bad Habit Brewing Co. and Hudson & Co Boutique!

These are two distinct but adjacent gardens on the banks of the Mississippi River. Both Gardens dazzle from late spring deep into fall. Munsinger Gardens dates from the 30s; the WPA-constructed paths and garden areas are still here, refurbished and expanded in the 80s. This is an informal garden of 14 acres with winding flower-bordered paths under tall pines. The grass flows between the organic shapes of island beds much like the river beside it. The Clemens Gardens, developed primarily in the 90s, provide 7 acres of considerable contrast. A collection of six gardens characterized by a formal style, they are situated on the sunny hill above Munsinger. The design is classical European but the use of plant material is decidedly American. Among them are the Virginia Clemens Rose Garden, the Rest Area Garden, the Formal Garden, the White Garden, the Perennial Garden, and the Treillage Garden. All are enhanced with decorative ironwork and fountains.
