WHAT IN THE RONI IS GOING ON?!!!

Hi Everyone!

As we all adapt to an uncertain time with COVID-19 (coronavirus), we have been monitoring the news carefully and preparing to take every precaution necessary to make our wedding safe for our guests.

That being said, we have decided, out of caution, to postpone our wedding until February 13, 2021.

For those of you who booked have booked flights already, many airlines are offering lenient ticket change policies, so we suggest you reach out to them directly.

While we are very sorry to delay our celebration and cause changes to your plans, the safety of our guests is our utmost priority. Please check our website and national and local public health websites regularly for updates. Please contact us directly with any questions. Thank you for your love, patience, and concern.

WILL YOU HAVE AN OPEN BAR?

Yes, OF COURSE! The whole night is open bar, so please arrive thirsty and drink the night away! But our wedding will be heavily photographed...so any drunken shenanigans will be captured and saved for years to come...you've been warned.

ARE KIDS INVITED?

There are so many special little people in our lives and we really wish we could invite them all. We have invited children whom we are particularly close to as a couple. We love all of our friends and families kids but WE ONLY HAVE ROOM FOR A FEW. If your children aren't listed on your invitation, please accept our apologies... and think of it as a chance to blow off some steam and take the night off! We are offering a kid's meal option of chicken nuggets for those under 12.

CAN I BRING A DATE?

If your invitation lists your date or says, “and Guest,” then yes; if not, we would prefer if it was just you. We have a strict guest list that we are trying to stick to so we apologize in advance if there's any inconvenience, but again, we appreciate your understanding!

WHEN SHOULD I RSVP BY?

Please RSVP by Monday, March 30, 2020.

HOW DO I RSVP?

You can RSVP at theknot.com/johnanna either by scrolling down on the "Our Wedding" page (scroll past the main photo & wedding date) or by clicking "RSVP" near the top right of the website. If you are on mobile, you can click the navigation icon (it's a circle) in the top left, then click "RSVP."

Instructions: After clicking RSVP, fill out the form by entering your First and Last name, followed by your E-mail address (optional). You will be asked who will be attending from your household, and you can select your food choice for each of your guests. If you have any questions about additional guests, feel free to email us.

Formal invitations will be sent closer to the wedding date. You can also mail your RSVP back (don't forget a stamp!).

WHAT DO I WEAR?

Black Tie / Formal, please.

But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

IS THERE PARKING?

Yes! There is enough (FREE!) parking for all of our guests at the venue.

WHERE'S THE CEREMONY?

Both our ceremony and reception will be held at Aria Wedding and Banquet Facility in Prospect, CT.

The weather in Connecticut at the end of May is typically in the low to mid 70's. But as our ceremony will be outside, please be prepared for that! Fingers crossed for no rain! But if it does, hey, that's okay :) our ceremony will be under the covered terrace.

As for arrival time, along as the bride can remain on time, the ceremony will start promptly at 6pm. Please plan to be at the venue by at least 5:45, earlier if you would like to reserve a good seat!

Bad allergies? Stock up on flo-nase and claritin, the flowers are in full bloom.

SO, DINNER - BUFFET OR SIT-DOWN?

Dinner will be sit down style. Please select a meal when you RSVP online or choose a meal on the RSVP card once you receive it in the mail. We're sure whichever dinner you choose, it will not disappoint!

I'M A VEGAN.

That's cool. Just let us know and we will make sure you are fed! The vegetarian meal option is also vegan - we triple checked with the vendor.

TRANSPORTATION?

HOTEL?

Yes, please check out our Guest Accommodations page for all the info you need.

DO YOU HAVE A REGISTRY?

WHERE'S THE HONEYMOON?

TBD. Still trying to figure out where we want to go! There are so many options!
