Cody and Anna have known each other forever. They met at church and knew each other in passing for years. Then they went on a mission trip together to Lake Traverse, South Dakota summer of 2016 and became quite good friends. Cody even wanted to ask Anna out, but Anna's parents had a strict rule of no dating until age 16. So Cody (not so) patiently waited until her 16th birthday to ask her out, which he promptly did first thing on November 22, 2016. The rest is history.
