Anna and Matt spent the first 18 years of their lives growing up just 9 minutes apart (and seeing the same pediatrician) but never ran into each other. It wasn't until October of 2020 when Matt noticed on Anna's Hinge profile that she was from the same area that the couple first connected over frozen Trader Joe's meals and the funny fact that mattress stores are always having a sale (think about it!). After sharing chips, salsa and a couple beers at a local brewery, their love for each other began to grow through COVID lockdowns, dinners at home (Matt is Anna's favorite chef), and enjoying each other's company.

As time went by, Anna and Matt discovered that they share a love of adventure, time with friends and family, and more recently, running half marathons. From weekend and foreign travels, weekly walks around Green Lake, and movie nights at home with Moira, every moment together has been filled with love and laughter.

In August of 2023, the couple went to Greece for some island hopping. After being overcome by the beauty of the landscape, Matt jumped into action and planned a surprise proposal that neither will ever forget. It was on the island of Milos that Matt got down on one knee and asked Anna to marry him. He even hired a photographer to capture the moment (check out the photos page!). Of course, Anna said yes, and it is the happiest moment of their lives (so far!).

Now, as they prepare to embark on the journey of marriage, Anna and Matt are excited to share their love story with friends and family. They look forward to creating many more memories, filled with love, laughter, and, of course, you!
