Getting Around
There are several rental car options in the area.
Uber and Lyft are also plentiful in Jackson and relatively inexpensive.
Of note, we will have a complimentary school bus making one trip from the Westin to the ceremony site at St. Francis of Assisi, departing at 1:30 pm. It will return to the Westin following the ceremony.
Walking in downtown Jackson is safe during the day. At night, we recommend walking in groups. Driving at night is perfectly safe.
Safety in Jackson
We realize that Jackson, MS, doesn't have the best reputation. Let us reassure you, we have lived in the city for almost 10 years until this last year. Like any other big city, be alert and lock your car. Now come enjoy the blues, soul food, and southern hospitality.

Amtrak
From Chicago to New Orleans or cutting over at Birmingham from NYC, Jackson's Amtrack station is ideal for anybody cross-country traveling and does not prefer flying.
