Some recommendations of places to go and things to do in our neck of the woods :)

Pirates Cove Beach

The premiere beach in the region, in our personal opinion. Parking is street only unless you're a resident. You could always park at Wallis Sands for a few bucks and hop right over the rock jetty!

Wallis Sands State Park

Very small beach with comically large parking lot. Parking is cheap and you could either stay at Wallis Sands or hop the rock jetty and have access to the town beach (Pirate's Cove) ((we recommend this)).

Odiorne Point State Park

A beautiful state park with multiple walking trails and lots of coastline to explore. Parking is plentiful and pretty inexpensive.

Kooks Cafe & Beach Bar

Cute little beach bar/surf shack serving breakfast, coffee, smoothies, and cocktails. Highly recommend the banana boat cocktail.

Petey's Summertime Seafood

A quintessential Rye establishment. For all your seafood needs.

Green Elephant

The best restaurant in the area for vegetarian/vegan food. Highly recommended even by the staunchest of meat eaters.

The Wilder

A fun bar for a funky cocktail- espresso martinis on tap.
