How much money should I bring to India?
The currency of India is Indian National Rupee (INR). Most of the restaurants and shops in India takes Visa debit and credit card. There are bunch of roadside vendors and smaller shops which doesn't. The best place to take out cash should be the ATMs at Delhi Airport.
I would suggest having at least 40,000 to 50,000 INR for each person i.e. USD 600 - 700. You can also convert money from your home country to INR and bring that amount.
Where to send money for hotel bookings and travel?
There's multiple options for sending money. They all are listed below. You can send it to my PayPal account.
