Annabeth and Brian's story begins in Davie, FL in 2016. Although not pictured, their friendship began when a mutual friend (shout out Vincent Sakks) invited Brian to a pre-medical school party being held at Annabeth's apartment. It was that night that the friend group "Wallace's" formed and to this day, they all remain best friends.

Now, anyone that knows Annabeth and Brian knows that Brian probably fell in love with Annabeth the minute they met, however, for the sake of the friend group, he never made a move. After almost 2.5 years of friendship, the tables turned. Annabeth not only noticed how dashingly handsome, intelligent, funny, and kind-hearted Brian is, but she began to feel that their friendship may have just been the perfect stepping-stone to a life-long relationship. She couldn't resist anymore and proclaimed her love for him. Brian obviously reciprocated and took her out on their first date.

After spending the first few months of the COVID-19 pandemic in Sumterville, FL, Annabeth matched into Emergency Medicine residency at Morristown Medical Center and Brian matched into Orthopaedic Surgery residency at Jefferson Health New Jersey. They settle in Princeton, New Jersey, the half-way point between hospitals, for their first home.

With the help of Annabeth's maid of honor, Julia Howell, and bridesmaid, Bailey Rinke, who lured Annabeth to an "early showing" at the Whitney Art Museum, Brian prepared to change their lives forever. A photographer pretending to photograph the girls for a magazine on the balcony caught the surprise when Brian climbed up the stairs and got down on one knee. Despite what anyone thinks, Annabeth cried, and Brian actually held it together! The surprises continued when the newly engaged couple showed up to a brunch filled with friends and family.

In preparation for Annabeth's Air Force active duty obligations, Annabeth and Brian said "I do" a few months after their engagement, thanks in part to our forever "minister" and Annabeth's maid of honor, Melissa Jelaso. They were surrounded by their loving parents!

The timeline of Annabeth and Brian would not be complete without the date that they brought home their perfect little pup, Remplissage "Remy" Fliegel. HE'S JUST THE CUTEST LITTLE MANNNN!
