Gasparilla Inn & Club
The weekend's festivities will all be centered around The Gasparilla Inn. This is a classic "old Florida" hotel located on the Gulf of Mexico.
We have reserved a block of rooms with a special rate. To book your room please either call the above phone number and ask for the “Johnson/Fliegel Block". Online booking is not available. The room block is held for our guests until May 6th, 2025, so book asap!

The Innlet
We have a small block of rooms reserved at the Innlet, a hotel that is located a half a mile from the Gasparilla Inn.
Please call the hotel before May 6, 2025 to make your reservations under the Johnson-Fliegel Wedding.
Boca Grande Hotel
While we don't have a wedding block here, you can book a place to stay directly online! This is about a 2 mile drive from the Gasparilla Inn.
Airbnb/VRBO
Last we checked, there are a number of great options via AirBnb/VRBO for couples, small groups and families. We encourage all of our guests to reserve an AirBnB as soon as possible as they are limited.
Getting there
Boca Grande is located on Gasparilla Island, which is on Florida’s Southwest Coast, midway between Sarasota and Ft. Myers.
Airport options include:
Sarasota Airport (SRQ) - 1 hour 10 minute drive
Fort Myers Airport (RSW) - 1 hour 20 minute drive
Tampa Airport (TPA) - 2 hour drive
Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) : 45 Min. Drive
While Ubers will be available at any of the above airports to take you to the island (roughly $100-$150), Uber/lyft services are not allowed to pick up from the island for your return. You will likely want to consider coordinating with friends or family to rent a car. Parking on the island is free and abundant.
Gasparilla Inn Shuttle Rates
Gasparilla Inn offers an airport shuttle service, for a fee, to all area airports. This may be a reasonable option if coordinating with a group. Please click below for rates. Concierge can be contacted at 855-200-3250.
Getting around
One of our favorite things about Gasparilla is that once you’re on the island, nearly everything is walkable (including all wedding festivities).
