Our Wedding

Our love story began over 7 years ago when Annamaria began working at Modell's Sporting Goods. After a couple of months of working together, Annamaria was in the break rooms when Peter walked in. She had just finished eating lunch, and had a few slices of her Nonna's pizza left over. This is when she turned to Peter and asked if he wanted a slice. Of course he couldn't turn it down! After that day, Peter asked Annamaria for her number, and since then, they have been inseparable. On September 9th, 2011 Peter officially asked Annamaria to be his girlfriend in Long Beach Island, NJ. After 7 years of dating, on November 10th, 2018 Peter asked Annamaria to marry him at Chelsea Piers in NYC and she said YES!&nbsp;

Our Love Story

On March 2020, the world went into lock down due to COVID-19. With everyday that passed by Annamaria and Peter watched&nbsp;plans for their wedding fall apart. Their venue and vendors&nbsp;closed, indoor and outdoor gatherings were&nbsp;limited to 10 people maximum, and the possibility of having a "normal" wedding became impossible. Although they were thrown many obstacles, they decided it was important to overcome this and show that their love was stronger than all of the up's and down's that will be thrown their way. On May 2, 2020, the date that they were supposed to get married, they decided to exchange their vows and say, “I DO”.&nbsp;It was an intimate ceremony at The Cantatore residence with their parents, siblings, maid of honor, and best men as witnesses. All their family and friends who couldn’t be there physically watched and cheered them on from a live stream on Facebook. Annamaria and Peter were then surprised with a “drive-by” reception when all their family and friends drove by to wish them&nbsp;congratulations. The day was filled with love, happiness, and it will be a day they will never forget. 

 

 On April 23, 2021 Annamaria and Peter will be renewing their vows at St. John The Baptist Church at two o’clock in the afternoon. The reception to celebrate their love will follow at The Florentine Gardens Estate at six thirty in the evening.&nbsp;&nbsp;They look forward to celebrating as the new Mr. & Mrs. Peter Cainero!&nbsp;
