August 2nd, 2025

Newfields4000 N Michigan Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46208 The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM in the gardens. To ensure you have plenty of time to make your way from the museum to the ceremony site, we kindly recommend arriving between&nbsp;5:00 and 5:10 PM. There is transportation provided from both of the hotels. Two separate buses will depart from both Hotel Carmichael and the Renaissance at 4:15 PM sharp. Please be in the lobby of your hotel by 4:05 PM to board the bus out front. Return transportation will also be available to both hotels. Both the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors, so please dress accordingly. Afterward, we’ll move indoors for dinner and dancing! Attire: Black-Tie Optional

Can I bring a date?

Due to limited capacity, we are only able to accommodate those formally invited. If you received a plus one, it will be addressed on your invitation.

Are kids welcome?

We love your little ones, we really do! However, we respectfully request no little ones on this night. We hope you take this as an opportunity to enjoy a fun date night!

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

We’re so excited to celebrate with all of you and can’t wait to see our family and friends dressed to the nines! We’re requesting Black-Tie Optional (i.e., formal) attire—think tuxedos or suits with ties for the men, and maxi or midi-length dresses, chic jumpsuits, or stylish mix-and-match separates for the women. Feel free to embrace summer flair with florals and other vibrant seasonal colors! Please note that there will be grassy areas during both the ceremony and cocktail hour, so we recommend choosing footwear accordingly. We can’t wait to celebrate in style with you all!

Will transportation be provided?

Is there onsite parking?

Yes, there is parking provided! To get to the venue, plug “Newfields, Indianapolis” into your GPS, and use the main entrance approximately a block west of the corner of 38th and Michigan Road (which—don’t be confused—is called Martin Luther King Jr. Street south of 38th). There’s a stoplight there, and a big sign. Turn north into the lot.&nbsp;

It's a very busy weekend in Indianapolis with a large convention, but we were able to get two great room blocks in Carmel! We recommend booking flight and hotel accommodations early!

Hotel Carmichael is located in the Carmel City Center, just a short walk from downtown Carmel, where you’ll find plenty of shopping and dining options. Be sure to check out Divvy, The Cake Bake Shop, or Vivante, the restaurant in the hotel and right off the Monon Trail! The Carmel Farmer's Market will also be going on right outside Hotel Carmichael Saturday morning!

Monon Trail

The Monon Trail is a walking and biking trail that stretches from downtown Indianapolis through the north side of the city. It runs right by Hotel Carmichael, offering easy access for a stroll or bike ride to downtown Carmel's restaurants and shopping!

Main Street (Downtown Carmel)

Jack and I live within walking distance of downtown Carmel and highly recommend checking out some great spots near Main Street. For restaurants, try Garden Table, Social Cantina, Anthony's Chophouse, Monterey, Savor or Wine and Rind. For drinks, head to The Goat, 3UP (where we celebrated our engagement), or Sun King Brewery! And don’t miss Java House, our favorite coffee shop nearby!
