Flight Information
First things first...make sure your passports are up-to-date!
The Leon airport (code: BJX) is about and hour and fifteen minutes from San Miguel. It is by far the most used for people traveling to San Miguel. There are several flights a day on various airlines and international customs (Aduana) services. If you're flying out of Dallas, this is your best option.
The other option is Queretaro (code: QRO). It's about an hour away and has fewer flight options, but if it's cheaper - book it!
Both airports offer group shuttles and private drivers. I do not recommend renting a car as San Miguel is definitely a walking city (ladies, bring your flats! The cobblestone streets are no joke) Once you book your flights, please send your itinerary to annemarie.evans@yahoo.com and I can help coordinate logistics based on everyone's arrival/departure times.
Lastly, my recommendation would be to come in Wednesday afternoon/Thursday morning and take the late flight on Sunday evening - that way you take part in all that we have planned!
There are so many choices when it comes to booking a room in San Miguel. We've gone ahead and blocked rooms at several hotels (see accommodations section). Events will kick off Thursday evening, so if you want the day to explore the town then I recommend coming in Wednesday evening.
Belmond Casa de Sierra Nevada
This hotel is about 10 minutes (walking) away from all wedding events. The rooms range from $240 to $285 per night (the normal rates on the website are much different than the room block rate). We have 20 rooms blocked at this hotel; they will go fast so book soon! Please reach out to Martha Espinosa via email (and CC Annemarie.evans@yahoo.com) to book and attain group room rate. The group name is "Annie and Crane". Room types, and rates are detailed below:
Superior Room: $240 per night (Queen size)
Deluxe Room: $270 per night (King Size)
Junior Suite: $285 per night (King Size)
**All room rates includes breakfast, and all applicable taxes/fees**
The hotel will require a one night deposit upon booking. Reservations must be cancelled up to 14 days beforehand to avoid loss of deposit.
****IMPORTANT: The rooms under this block will be released to the public on January 30th. Please make sure your reservation is confirmed prior to that date****
Casa 1810
This is a brand new hotel located just off the city square that's been renovated into 16 clean, artfully designed rooms. We have 9 rooms blocked at this hotel. Since all the rooms are different, so are the rates. Our wedding confirmation codes are: 51013 or 51021 or you can say "Annie and Crane" wedding.
Transportation
**All flight reservations need to be made by February 15th to coordinate transportation! If they are not made by this deadline, ride sharing may not be possible**
Please email me (Annemarie.evans@yahoo.com) your flight info once booked so I can confirm your transportation. I will send your information to "Bookatour" who will then reach out to you directly to confirm your airport transfers. Payments can be made in USD upon arrival, or as otherwise directed by the transportation company.
Pricing for BJX & QRO airport transfers listed below. All prices are for the ENTIRE car, and split between all passengers:
Sedan: 1-3 people (2 LG Bags & 2 MD Bags)
Suburban: 6 people (6 Large Bags)
Express Van: 6-7 people (10 Large Bags)
Toyota: 7-9 people (12 Bags)
Sprinter: 15 people (15 Bags) > This option is available for also a "Sprinter"from QRO & BJX airports. This is most cost effective option assuming there are enough people.
CANCELLATIONS/CHANGES
Cancellations must be done minimum 24hrs before the scheduled time for your service, and during business hours (Monday-Saturday from 9am to 6pm CST) and Sunday from 9am to 3pm CST). You can cancel by sending an email to bookatourmx@gmail.com.
If the flight is delayed, please notify them immediately. There will be an extra charge per hour from the third hour, considering that the driver might be at the Airport by that time. The charge depends on the vehicle.

Villa Santa Monica
Beautifully intimate & rustic hotel, about a block from the wedding & rehearsal venues, and just a short jaunt from the main town square. We have 12 rooms here, ranging from $200 to about $300/night USD.
Hotel Boutique Hacienda el Santuario
Also, directly in the heart of everywhere you want to be. Are we sensing a theme here? All of these hotels are amazing, including this one. Just find some friends and stay together. Rooms range from about $180-$260/night USD.
Hotel Matilda
Ranked Top 3 hotels in all of Mexico by Conde Nast, Hotel Matilda sits just a few blocks from all wedding venues.
Casa Rosada
Fun fact for you wedding guests out there: Casa Rosada is Spanish for Pink House, and dates back to colonial times. Directly across from the famous Parroquia, this would be an amazing, inexpensive place to stay. Rooms range from $140-$230/night USD, and we have 10 rooms blocked here.
The Rosewood
This hotel is right across the street from the Rehearsal Dinner, and wedding venue. Cradled within the historical heart of downtown San Miguel de Allende, hotel accommodations are reminiscent of a fine hacienda. The 67 beautifully appointed rooms and suites feature wood-beamed ceilings, hand-carved furniture and colors reflective the rich hues of the town.Hands down the most beautiful hotel in San Miguel! They also have private residences available.
Additional Information
There are so many options when considering where to stay! If you would like to stay in a traditional "Casa" instead of a hotel please reach out to Katharine Hibberts. She would be more than happy to assist. You can also check out options on VRBO as there are plenty of privately owned vacation homes throughout San Miguel.
You may also be able to find better hotel room rates on websites such as Expedia, or Trip Advisor. It just depends on if the hotel is running a special at the time of booking.
Lastly, please make your arrangements as soon as possible! San Miguel is a popular place in April so the hotels, and Casa's will book up quickly.
