As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve, we are monitoring the rules and guidance of local authorities to ensure we can host an event that is as safe as possible. Due to the weather in Tahoe in November, the vast majority of our event will be indoors, which inherently requires additional precautions.

In order to protect our loved ones, we are asking that all guests who are eligible for the COVID vaccine be fully vaccinated prior to attending our celebration. If you have made a personal decision to forgo vaccination, we ask that you please RSVP "no".

In addition, we ask that you:

1. Be willing to comply with CDC and local masking guidelines at the time of the event. Current Washoe County COVID restrictions require masking for anyone indoors and can be found here. We will of course encourage mask wearing regardless of the current restrictions for anyone who feels more comfortable wearing one.

2. Do NOT attend if you have any symptoms of COVID-19 including "cold symptoms" such as runny nose, cough, or sore throat as these are common in breakthrough infections.

3. Optional but encouraged: Take and receive negative results from a PCR test within 72 hours of the event or a Rapid Test within 24 hours of the event. PCR testing (72 hour TAT) is available for free in Truckee and can be scheduled here.

While we had hoped COVID would be behind us by now, we recognize that each person has their own risk tolerance and fully understand that some guests may choose not to attend due to safety concerns. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions or concerns, and know that we appreciate your love and support whether you choose to attend in November or not!
