When do I need to RSVP by?
Please let us know if you plan on attending using the RSVP tab by March 1, 2025. If you are able to attend, we strongly advise booking your lodging ASAP, since the Palisade Bluegrass & Roots Festival will be happening the same weekend as our wedding - so there will be competition.
What view will I see?
This.
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to space limitations, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless specifically indicated on your invitation. If you have a plus one, you will also see this when you RSVP. If you have any questions, please reach out.
Is it alright if I bring my child or baby?
Please note that the wedding ceremony and reception on Saturday will be an adults-only event to ensure a relaxed evening for all guests. We hope that you will still be able to attend, and thank you for understanding!
What is the dress code?
The dress code is garden party attire. For more inspo, check out the "What to wear" tab - we made a collage! Considerations for footwear: the venue is blanketed in grass, gravel, and a wooden deck.
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Almost the entirety of our wedding will be outside, although BookCliff has a large covered patio for shade and an air-conditioned tasting room when you need to cool down! Due to summer temps in Western Colorado, most of our appetizer and dessert options will be COLD. We will also have handheld fans available (but feel free to bring your own fans and parasols!).
How do I get there and where do I stay?
Please find detailed answers to this question on the "Travel & accommodations" tab.
What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
The ceremony starts promptly at 4 pm, so please arrive 15-20 minutes beforehand!
Can I take photos?
We kindly ask that you do not take photos during the ceremony, be present, and let our photographer work her magic! Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take photos during the cocktail hour and reception. We will have disposable cameras for you to get artsy and experimental ;)
How late will the dance party go?
Due to local noise ordinance, we need to wrap up at BookCliff by 10 pm, although we are open to keeping things going at someone's vacation rental, or by the pool at Wine Country Inn!
What's the bar situation?
We will be at a winery - so you can rest assured that there will be plenty of vino available! We will have an open bar serving beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Will I feel the elevation?
Palisade is 4,718 ft above sea level - not as high as Denver (5,280 ft), but we urge you to remember to hydrate, especially in the heat!
