FOR NON-COLORADANS:
Easiest option
Fly to Grand Junction directly, which will add an additional hour leg to your flight to Denver
More difficult option
Fly to Denver then choose one of the QUITE SCENIC options through the Rockies below
FROM DENVER:
Either:
-Drive 4 hours to Palisade
-Take the Amtrak California Zephyr train ($138) - absolutely spectacular trip through Glenwood Canyon!!!
-Take the A line from Denver Airport to Union Station ($9), then take the Bustang West Line to Grand Junction ($43)
Parking is extremely limited at BookCliff, and our vendors will require several parking spaces. We request that if you drive, please ferry other wedding guests.
We ask that you consider the following transportation options:
-Local friends, please bring your own bicycle (BYOB). Both hotels are located a short, comfortable bike ride away from BookCliff, and we ensure you there will be safety in numbers with a whole gaggle of us riding over! Bike gang!!
-For non-Colorado attendees, consider renting a bicycle from Palisade Cycle & Shuttle for the weekend (details below).
-Otherwise, please rideshare using Uber, Lyft, or the local taxi service, Sunshine Rides. We cannot guarantee plentiful drivers nor the affordability of this option.
-If you drive your personal vehicle to the venue, please carpool with others.
*If you have accessibility concerns about accessing the venue using a wheelchair or other mobility device, please reach out for accommodations - this is an all ages and abilities event!*

We've identified several larger VRBOs with 5-6 bedrooms and capacity for 8-21 people per house. If gathering a group of friends and booking one of these together sounds fun, it could dramatically lower the cost:
1. The Homestead - adorable with six bedrooms and sleeps 21 - $150/night per bedroom
2. Newly remodeled house with idyllic porch (a bit outside of Palisade's core), 5 bedrooms and sleeps 12 - $145/night per bedroom
3. The Palisade River House - right by the river, 5 bedrooms and sleeps 8 - $128/night per bedroom
4. The Palisade Chalet - A-frame chalet with hot tub, 5 bedrooms and sleeps 8 - $147/night per bedroom
Also - if this is something you're interested in and need help linking up with others, please reach out to us!
There is camping and glamping available for Friday-Sunday at the bluegrass festival for relatively low cost. We have information on more removed camping options in the "Things to do" page.
