This is a story that any LSU Tiger fan will appreciate. We met in the fall of 2019, during our sophomore year of college. I was a nursing student at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Patrick was at LSU, in the Sigma Chi fraternity, along with my twin brother, Oscar. My entire family was invited to a football game/ tailgate, but I didnt want to go because of school work.
One may say this is where fate stepped in, because I went to the game, and it will forever be one of the greatest days of my life. That was the day Patrick and I met. We had our first official date one week later, and have been together ever since.
We spent our college years commuting between Lafayette and Baton Rouge, and looking forward to weekends where we could spend time together.
Since college, we both settled into our careers in New Orleans, and have enjoyed finally being in the same city. I am now a pediatric RN at Childrens Hospital New Orleans, and Patrick is a line technician at Gulf South Autism Center.
In our free time, we love spending time with friends and family. We enjoy going to concerts, exploring New Orleans, and walking Bear, our dog. One of our favorite fall traditions is attending an LSU football game to celebrate how we met.
It has been five amazing years. We have watched each other accomplish numerous milestones, and have enjoyed lifes natural chaos, together. We simply love the other ones company, and we are so excited to enter this next chapter as husband and wife.
