Jordan and I met in September 2021 during the first week back at school. I was kind of jokingly looking for boys with brown hair and blue eyes because this is what one of my friends claimed was her "type." So I decided to go collect some of these boys for her and do a little meet and greet.... oh man what was I doing, talk about a joke that went too far haha! Anyways, Jordan was one of those boys that fit that criteria and turns out we really hit it off! Plus he was so cute and funny and smart and easy to talk to, I couldn't help but be interested in him. We talked for quite some time before saying goodbye, but forgot to grab each other's numbers!

After that point, we lost contact for roughly 2 months. None of my friends knew him, I couldn't find his instagram, and I ended up moving off campus so didn't run into him on campus either. Rumor has it that he was walking down campus trying to randomly run into me again, but I don't know if he would want me to share that "rumor."

After 2 months, we saw each other at our college ministry at our church! Jordan got my number and asked me out that night!!! There was never any confusion whether we were into each other, that's for sure! He was not going to lose me again and neither was I. We went on our first date that weekend and the rest is well.. as they say, history.

God was so faithful to us in how we met and his perfect timing. We are so excited to continue our story and continue to bring glory to God through our marriage!
