Our first recommendation is obviously Disney World. Walt Disney World Resort is an entertainment and recreation center of nearly 40 square miles featuring four theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom); two water adventure parks (Disney's Blizzard Beach and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon); dozens of resort hotels (24 owned and operated by Walt Disney World); 81 holes of golf on five courses; two full-service spas; Disney's ESPN Wide World of Sports complex; and Disney Springs, an entertainment-shopping-dining complex.
(Anshu's favorite park is Hollywood Studios while Shawn's is Animal Kingdom!)
Universal Orlando Resort is located on about735 acres inside the city of Orlando The resort consists of two theme parks—Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure—along with the Volcano Bay water park; seven Loews-operated Universal hotels; and the CityWalk dining, nightlife, and shopping complex.
While Shawn has never been to Universal Resort before, he is looking forward to experiencing the world of Jurassic Park in Islands of Adventure.
Meanwhile, Anshu is always happy to grab a butterbeer at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Whether you’re planning an Orlando family vacation or call central Florida home, the SeaWorld family of parks offers unforgettable experiences for animal lovers, coaster enthusiasts, water park fans and everyone in between.
This complex is made up of 3 parks: SeaWorld, Discovery Cove, and Aquatica.
Seaworld is a theme park and marine zoological park with roller coaster rides, live shows, indoor exhibits, and water rides.
Aquatica is a water park with a variety of rides including wave pools, a lazy river, and water slides.
Discovery Cove is a unique, all day resort where you can swim with dolphins, snorkel with tropical fish, or relax on the beach.
LEGOLAND Florida Resort is the ultimate vacation destination for families with kids, located just 45 minutes from Orlando and Tampa. The resort includes an interactive, 150-acre theme park with more than 50 rides, shows and attractions inspired by popular LEGO brands and characters plus LEGOLAND Water Park and two uniquely themed accommodations: the LEGOLAND Hotel and LEGOLAND Beach Retreat.
Kennedy Space Center, one of 10 NASA field centers, is a premier multiuser spaceport with more than 90 private-sector partners and nearly 250 partnership agreements. The presence of commercial companies at NASA's Kennedy Space Center is larger than ever before, enabling us to embark on a new era of space exploration. Although Kennedy is the agency's main launch site, the center also is home to facilities that research and develop innovative solutions that government and commercial space ventures need for working and living on the surfaces of the Moon and other bodies in our solar system.
