Antonio and Mackenzie met in 2015 at Siena College on the first day of classes when they were both only 17 years old. Mackenzie's biology lab was cancelled and she went to Lonnstrom Dining Hall for some lunch. Antonio just happened to sit next to her and both instantly connected. After a couple short weeks, Antonio and Mackenzie's Ryan Hall friend groups all became great friends.

About 3 months later, Antonio asked Mackenzie on a first date to hike Hadley Mountain. Mackenzie thought their entire friend group was invited and didn’t realize it was a date until the night before. After a long 3 hour hike, and some poutine, wings, and mac and cheese at Henry's Irish Pub, the rest is history.
