What first brought Jorgos and Anya together? Well it all started with a glass of champagne. Jorgos had lived in Florence for 25 years and Anya for four years, then fate stepped in. After meeting in Jorgos' wine bar in November 2021, their romance quickly blossomed from a shared love of wine to a deep and caring love for each other. Six months later, Jorgos got down on one knee and proposed to Anya during their Easter holiday in the charming island of Corfu in Greece.

In July 2023, Jorgos and Anya were civilly wed in a private ceremony in Laguna Beach, California. Now they wish to be surrounded by their dearest friends and family to celebrate their religious marriage in the city where they met.
