It's up to you! There will be a shuttle to take guests to and from the wedding departing from The Eddy Hotel and The Golden Hotel. Golden is about 40-45 minutes from DIA. Once in Golden, there are many things accessible by walking or ubering however if you want to explore more of the mountains, it may be best to rent a 4 wheel drive vehicle.

Matt and Ariel will be staying at The Eddy Hotel and would LOVE if you could stay there with them. There are other options on the LODGING tab of this website. We also encourage you to check out airbnb!

Cocktail is best! We would love to see women in colorful dresses that are cocktail, midi or maxi length. For men, we recommend a suit with an optional tie. The wedding will be colorful and summery so feel free to be bright and fun with your attire as well!

It is never a bad idea to bring layers. We will be at 9200 feet of elevation so there can be a significant difference in the weather from downtown. The ceremony will be outside but the reception will be inside. There will also be heaters during cocktail hour if it is a bit breezy!

We HIGHLY recommend taking our shuttle. The shuttle will pick up / drop off at The Eddy Hotel. The timing for the shuttle will be posted closer to wedding day! If you are planning to drive yourself PLEASE let Ariel know directly. There are limited parking spaces at the venue and it requires driving up switchbacks on a narrow unpaved road. If you are comfortable with this drive you are welcome to drive yourself but please let her know for planning purposes. There are NO vehicles allowed to stay overnight so if you are driving yourself please do not drink alcoholic beverages at the event.

We ask that all gifts are sent electronically, brought to The Eddy or delivered to the couples house in Denver. There are no vehicles allowed at the venue overnight and therefore everything must be removed at the conclusion of the event. There will be a lot of moving parts and we do not want your gift to be lost/forgotten!

We'd love for your children to join us for the wedding celebration! Please be sure that Matt and Ariel know if you are bringing a young one. We may also be able to help with local childcare if needed, so don't hesitate to reach out. It should also be noted that the shuttle buses will be departing the venue at only one time (10PM) and ride share services are not available due to the remote location.
