Additionally, the streets are cobblestone and very uneven —ladies, please be careful when walking with heels or consider a change of shoes for the walk over!
If you are attending the Rehearsal Dinner, please wear cocktail attire. Suits with a more casual look for men and women in midi dresses/jumpsuits!

What's the weather like in October in Tequis?
During the day, Tequis is warm! Expect temperatures to be in the 70s and low 80s. However, it can get chilly once the sun sets. Please consider bringing a jacket and/or longer pants for the evenings. Ladies, we suggest bringing something to cover up with on the night of the wedding that goes with your floor-length dress.
Is this an all-inclusive destination wedding?
Great question! There are no all-inclusive hotels in this area, so just like with an out-of-town wedding, you'll get your flights and book your hotel beforehand. Everything else (food, drinks, activities, etc. outside of our wedding) can be bought once in Tequisquiapan with card or cash (in pesos). Don't worry —There are ATMs! We encourage you to branch out and try all the amazing restaurants around the plaza and pop-up stands with snacks with all the authentic Mexican food!
Do we need to contact a travel agency?
Since this is different than your typical international destination wedding, there is no agency you need to book through. However, we are working with Rachel Friesen from Encompass Journeys to help our guests book hotels and flights if you wish to have someone take care of that for you! You can call or text her at (970) 581 -3155 or email her at rachel.friesen@luxrallytravel.com
Do I need to bring cash?
You'll quickly see things are much cheaper here, which is great! While cash (in pesos) is preferred by many in this small town, your card can be used at most places with a small international fee for every swipe. We suggest taking out pesos at an ATM once you land in QRO to make things easier!
Can I bring a Plus One?
We kindly ask that only the guests addressed in the invitation attend our wedding. Due to venue capacity and our wish to celebrate with those closest to us, we are unable to accommodate additional guests or plus ones unless specifically noted. Thank you for understanding as we look forward to sharing our special day with you!
Is Tequisquiapan safe?
Tequisquiapan is a tranquil and peaceful destination. Given its moderately touristic nature, areas are safe to walk. However, just like you would at home and any place in the world, always maintain general awareness.
