Tequisquiapan is a very calm and relaxed small village! Aseret used to travel here with her family when she lived in Mexico and has fond memories of this town and Anthony quickly fell in love with it as well. We want you all to experience a different type of Mexico and truly emerge yourselves in this beautiful and authentic culture.
No matter how long your stay is, there are plenty of things to keep y'all busy before and after the wedding day!
On Sunday, October 12, at 3 pm, everyone is invited to go on a 3.5 hour personalized tour with Aseret & Anthony to Del Vino Donato (vineyard) and Quesería La Fromelier ("cheese shop") - there will be a link to register and pay soon!
Tequisquiapan is known for its vibrant wine and cheese culture! Tequis has locally produced wines, including crisp whites and bold reds, the region is home to some of Mexico’s most esteemed wineries and vineyards and rich flavors of handcrafted cheeses.
There are many tours one can do to these vineyards and tastings. The area’s famous Wine & Cheese Route (Ruta del Queso y Vino) invites visitors to indulge in tastings, tours, and gourmet pairings! Even if you're not a big wine person, these places are incredible to see. Check some tours out here.
