Our story began June 22nd when we first laid eyes on each other across the beach at Emerald Isle, NC. Asher was Shooting the wedding I was attending as a guest. I knew that i was not leaving the wedding until i talked to him. After my elaborate plan to get his phone number, we started talking and never stopped. The next day back in Tennessee, we met up for a photoshoot, which turned into dinner afterwards. We had an instant connection that I didn't believe was real. Months pass, gearing up for our first roadtrip to Utah. 30 hours in a car together gave us more than enough time to get to know each other on a deeper level. Seeing the house Asher grew up in and meeting old highschool friends was one of the coolest experiences. I felt like I'd known him my whole life. Falling in love with him was the easiest thing I've ever done.. he allows me to be my own person, as do I. There's nothing we won't do for each other, especially when it comes to our dreams.
I knew from the moment i met him, that he would be the man i marry. Seems cliche, but the saying is true- when you know, you know; even if he did catch me off guard when he popped the question! I said "yes" without any hesitation! We had talked about our plans for our wedding if we "ever got married" prior to his proposal, so we knew exactly what our plans would be. Not only is Utah one of the prettiest states for photos and vacations, we fell in love there- that was our first of many roadtrips together, and it holds a special place in our hearts. Having family and friends there that care the most about us and our relationship means the world to us. Not expected for many to RSVP due to our ceremony being across the country, but if you can make it, make the best out of it. If you come with your significant other or spouse, take a second to look around and soak it all in, it'll make you remember why YOU fell in love, and why this life with him/her is important to you. A Wedding isn't just about the decorations and food, it's a major life change that brings Asher and I together as one. The main goal is a marriage. We hope to have you witness this step in our lives.
