IMPORTANT: We ask that anyone who thinks they may have a cold or any other contagious virus to NOT attend the wedding due to Ashleigh being a high risk patient. If you are unsure whether or not to attend, please contact Alissa MacGillivray. *The best way to prevent illness is to wash hands thoroughly, keep your hands away from your face, hydrate, eat well, and get 7-9 hours of sleep each night. It is greatly appreciated if those flying to Florida are willing to wear a mask in the airport for Ashleigh's safety.
I am coming in from out of town. Do I need to arrange for transportation?
Yes. You can either get a rental car or you can get an Uber. The ceremony location is 10 minutes away from the reception location.
How soon should I purchase plane tickets to Florida?
We recommend buying tickets about one to three months out. These prices will be the most affordable. If you are traveling internationally, you may need to book earlier.
I am starting to feel sick. Should I still attend the wedding?
No. Due to Ashleigh’s health, we ask that you stay home if you believe you are getting sick.
Is Ashleigh allergic to flowers?
No. Ashleigh is not allergic to smell - she is allergic to the chemicals that make up fragrance mix and will have a reaction upon touch. Please refrain from gifting soaps, lotions, laundry detergent, perfumes, and other materials that would contain chemical fragrance that Ashleigh would be touching.
Is Ashleigh allergic to candles?
No. However, for health reasons, Ashleigh only uses 100% soy candles.
Should I wear a mask in the airport?
We greatly appreciate anyone who is willing to wear a mask in the airport as this is one of the highest risk locations for spreading viruses such as COVID.
