Most of you here already know and have lived through Jonathan and Ashleigh's "story" so we will keep it brief. After meeting at UGA freshman year (Go Dawgs), Ashleigh fell in love at first sight… with the Jewish fraternity, AEPI. After a couple of years of contact through countless date nights, weekend shenanigans, and heartbreaking dawgs losses, Ash and Jonathan decided they had a pretty good time together and the rest is history.

Fast forward a few years post college to when Ashleigh secured her role as the breadwinner, and they travel the world as often as possible creating new and unique experiences.

It was only fitting that Jonathan propose on a spur of the moment weekend trip to Italy, because he knew this was Ashleigh's favorite place in the world (when in Rome). The proposal happened in the most classic way possible for this couple… on a food tour! Jonathan secretly hired a tour guide that was also a freelance photographer, who scouted a secluded picturesque Italian courtyard and captured the moment on camera. After the proposal, the guide was so thrilled about the engagement that he extended the remainder of the tour, and the group had another 2+ hours of eating before they had a chance to call their families and share the good news.

We chose to have our wedding in Italy because this place is special to us. It holds a moment that will be in our hearts forever, and we feel it is only fitting to have our wedding ceremony here as well. We cannot wait to celebrate our union with our closest friends and family. And eat all the pasta and drink all the wine.
