So, you want the inside scoop on how Trevor and I fell head over heels? Here it is!

It all started on Hinge. Yeah, we know… Hinge. We were both convinced those apps were a digital wasteland, a never-ending parade of disappointing profiles. We're both pretty introverted, homebodies at heart, just looking for a way to connect with someone without having to, you know, actually leave our house. Secretly, we were both praying for someone special, someone who "got" us. Little did we know...God had a plan. He knew we were made for each other, even before we knew each other existed.

Our first date? The Cheesecake Factory. Sounds cliché, right? But it was perfect. I remember seeing Trevor walk up, and thinking, "Oh my gosh, he's even more handsome in person”—which I didn’t think was humanly possible! The moment our eyes met, it was like a cheesy rom-com movie moment, but a thousand times better. I felt those butterflies, like never before. I instantly knew, in that split second, that this man was it. I saw his kindness, the warmth in his eyes, and a huge smile crept across my face. Trevor says the same thing happened to him; he saw me waiting and was completely blown away, thinking “Holy crap, she’s even MORE beautiful than her pictures!”

The conversation? Effortless. Comfortable. We laughed, we talked, we completely lost track of time. Neither of us wanted the night to end. Luckily, our waitress was on a mission to set a new record for slowest service—a full 45 minutes to ask us what we wanted to drink! It was a blessing though, honestly. We needed that time!

Two days later, date number two. Then three, then a million more. We were inseparable, each day discovering something new to love about each other. Trevor, an outdoorsman, rekindled my love for nature, dragging me (literally sometimes!) on epic hikes. We conquered Stone Mountain in Georgia—I almost died, let's just say—and then we hit the breathtaking Gaviota Peak in California. The views? Absolutely worth every aching muscle.

Then almost a year after they met, came Easter Sunday. We attended church with my family, and afterwards, we all went to the Botanical Gardens for a post-church gathering. The sun was shining, flowers were in bloom, and laughter filled the air as we strolled along the paths. His family was there hiding so I wouldn’t see! I was completely caught off guard; completely oblivious to the surprise waiting for me. I was taking photos of my amazing parents, enjoying the gorgeous day, when suddenly, Trevor dropped to one knee amidst the flowers and family members. The shock, the overwhelming joy - it’s still a blur! I gasped, completely speechless. He held up the most stunning ring. It was perfect, and the moment felt even more perfect. I said yes, obviously! It was the easiest "yes" of my entire life.

So, here we are, planning our wedding with all of our favorite people. This isn’t just a love story; it's a testament to faith, to prayer, and the crazy magic of finding your person in the most unexpected of places! We're two souls, perfectly imperfect and completely meant for each other, ready to embark on our next big adventure, hand-in-hand!
