We met on Bumble during COVID and had our first date at Rosie Cannonball in Montrose. Ryan was so nervous he accidentally ordered focaccia instead of a cocktail - it was love at first bite!

We went on our first trip to Fredericksburg, TX! We stayed in a storage container-turned-AirBnb, drank lots of wine, and enjoyed an elevation change at Enchanted Rock.

We went on our first family trip together! We joined Ryan’s family for a floating trip in New Braunfels, TX.

We celebrated Ashley’s 28th birthday in New Orleans! We walked up and down Magazine Street and had an incredible meal at La Petite Grocery - we even befriended our server!

We celebrated our first anniversary with a trip to San Antonio! We enjoyed boozy boba at Best Quality Daughter, trying our first concha, and walking the River Walk at night.

Ryan is a nervous nellie, but he conquered his fears and read to Ashley’s class of kindergarteners for the first time! The kids loved Mr. Fox so much (and he did too), that he came back again!

We spent our second summer together exploring Houston! We spent time at The Menil Collection, The Museum of Fine Arts, trying new restaurants, and walking along Buffalo Bayou with our dogs, Sammy, Zeke, and Gracie.

The Astros won the World Series! We walked to the parade with our friend Rachael and celebrated our favorite baseball team.

We took a trip to New York City! We visited Ryan’s extended family, Ryan saw his first Broadway Show, and we ate as much pizza as possible.

We love to go to concerts, but this one was our favorite. We got to meet Koo Koo Kanga Roo, the group responsible for providing all the brain breaks in Ashley's kindergarten classroom. We even got to play with the rainbow tarp we all know and love from P.E. back in the day!

We celebrated our second anniversary with a trip to Fort Worth, TX! We enjoyed exploring The Stockyards and going to an Indy Car Race.

We moved in together! We loved our apartment right between downtown Houston and Washington Avenue. We spent our time walking to Astros games, our favorite restaurants, and along the Bayou almost every day!

We celebrated Ryan’s 32nd birthday at Nancy’s Hustle, which is still one of our favorite spots! We talk about the Nancy Cakes on a regular basis!

We love going to shows, which was great since we lived right by the Hobby Theater. Together we have seen Funny Girl, Wicked, and The Murder of Roger Ackroyd.

We took our first international trip together to Reykjavik, Iceland! We celebrated our friend Ashley’s 30th birthday, ate at our first Michelin-rated restaurant, swam between two tectonic plates, and saw the Northern Lights. It was the trip of a lifetime!

The Astros (almost) made it to the World Series! We went to our first playoff game together. It was such a cool experience!

Ryan went to his first Ole Miss game and got to experience all of Ashley's college favorites. We enjoyed Volta, Funky’s, and a Landshark win!

We went to Alabama together for the first time! Ryan got to check out Birmingham, work on the farm, and eat fried turkey for Thanksgiving while meeting Ashley’s family.

We went to Vegas with Ryan’s family! We saw Adam Sandler’s standup, played slots and blackjack, and ate at Hell’s Kitchen! We’ve watched all of Gordon Ramsey’s shows together so this was a treat!

Ryan’s family loves a cruise, so we went on our first one together! We visited Cozumel and Costa Maya, played bingo, and enjoyed the drink package.

We celebrated our third anniversary in Chicago, IL! We learned about the city’s architecture, went to the top of Willis Tower, and Ryan tried his first deep dish pizza.

We bought a house! We left the hustle and bustle of Houston behind and moved to The Woodlands! We love the walking paths and being closer to Ryan’s family.

Ryan is a huge Formula 1 fan, and Ashley is a huge Charles Leclerc fan, so we went to our first race together! Our favorite team got first and second place so we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

After a birthday celebration in Nashville, Ryan finally popped the question! We celebrated with Ashley’s friends and family in downtown Birmingham. It was the perfect day!
