Airports
There are several options as far as airports go when trying to book your flights for the wedding. The Westchester County/White Plains Airport (HPN) is the closest option to Fairfield. It is very convenient and can have great rates from time to time. The major NYC airports such as JFK and LaGuardia (LGA) are also great options. We have two airports in CT that are fairly close as well. Those airports are Bradley International in Hartford, CT and an airport in New Haven, CT. The last option is Newark which is located in New Jersey.
Hilton Garden Inn Shelton
We have blocked off some hotel rooms at a discounted rate at the Hilton Garden Inn located in Shelton, CT. There are 20 rooms blocked off for Friday and Saturday night. Guests will need to call and book the rooms under the Carothers-Hodges Wedding Group or use the online code COE using the website listed above. The rooms are approximately $104 a night for double occupancy. You must use the group code in order to receive these rates and the complimentary breakfast. The rate includes a coupon for breakfast each morning at the Garden Grille Restaurant located in the hotel. The hotel is about 10 or 15 minutes away from the reception and about 20 minutes away from the church. Jay and I will be available on Sunday, June 12, 2015 in the Garden Grille from 8:30-11 A.M. to visit with each one of you during breakfast! Hilton Garden Inn Shelton
We will have a shuttle (school bus) that will take guests to and from the reception. It will pick up guests at the hotel at 5:30 pm and 6:00 pm. The second shuttle may be a few minutes earlier so just plan accordingly. The shuttle will then return guests back to hotel at 10:30 pm and 11:00 pm.
