Q + A

Can I Bring A Guest or Plus One?

We have a very tight guest list, with only a certain number of guests allowed in the venue. For that reason, if your invitation does not explicitly state "and guest" we unfortunately will not be able to accommodate a plus one.

Can We Bring Our Children?

We love kids and can't wait to celebrate with them at a later date. Given the VERY limited space we have, we unfortunately cannot accommodate kids under 18. We hope that all of our special loved ones will be able to coordinate child care and come celebrate with an adult-oriented fun night. If you have any questions about your invitation, PLEASE feel free to reach out to the bride or groom to chat about it further :)

Is there parking available at the venue?

Yes! The event venue has valet parking so that you will not have to worry about finding a space for your vehicle.

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Given the unpredictability of mid-April weather, we will be making a game-time decision about where to hold the ceremony. As such, check the weather and bring a light sweater just in case!

Will there be transportation to the venue?

A shuttle service will be available to and from the venue for all individuals who have booked under the room block. The shuttle times are as follows: PRE-CEREMONY: 1. Departing the hotel promptly at 4:00 pm 2. Departing the hotel promptly at 4:50 pm POST-WEDDING: 1. Departing the venue at 11:05 pm (pre-after party) 2. Departing the venue at 12:00 pm (post-after party) If you require transportation back to the venue or hotel at another point in the night, please consider taking a rideshare service. In the chance of the shuttle bus being filled, the bride and groom will provide a select number of $10 Uber credits for reminding guests to get back to the hotel.

Is there a room block available?

Yes, there is a room block available at the Courtyard by Marriott in Basking Ridge, NJ. Please see our Room Block tab for more information! Those who book with the room block will have access to a shuttle service to and from the hotel/venue at two points throughout the night.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

The dress code is formal wedding attire. We ask that guests DO NOT attend in dresses or gowns that are white, champagne, off-white, cream, or any other color that could be mistaken for white. (With peace and love, I am not afraid to designate someone the "accidental red wine spiller" for the night for any dress that is white or white adjacent. This is your warning - Ashley)

Can I Take Photos During the Ceremony?

We are asking for an unplugged ceremony. We spent extensive time picking a wonderful set of wedding photographers and videographers for the big day, so there is no need to worry about capturing the moment on your phones. We would love to see your beautiful faces in clear view for the big moment, so please make sure to keep phones off and away!
