Things to note:

-Time of event: Begins Friday at 1PM, ends at 5:30PM.

-Transportation is not provided. This is a walking tour.

-Wrist band will be given at first stop so the venues know you are a part of this event.

-The route is .8 of a mile total, but includes some incline. -Please wear comfortable shoes.

-Uber is readily available if you prefer to Uber to each stop.

-We encourage you to grab a drink, hang, and explore the areas at your own leisure with the wedding party.

-Each location has a pre-paid bar tab, but if you’d like to eat or drink more: each location accepts all credit cards, Apple Pay & euros.

WALKING ROUTE FROM BROWN’S HOTELS:

Be sure to allocate at least 15-20 minutes to walk to Time Out Market if you choose to walk, flat .7mile walk. You also may Uber (15 minutes). See proposed walking route: stop by the famous Praca Do Comercio and walk along the Tagus River.

We will meet outside of the market (picture above), where Zeiry (wedding planner and team) will provide you with one card per person.

The card has 15 euros to be spent anywhere inside.

The card must be returned to Zeiry before the end of the event.

Things to note:

There will be coach buses taking those staying in downtown Lisbon, with luggage, to Sintra, Portugal.

Please utilize the free breakfast at the Brown’s Hotel or grab something prior to departure. Lunch will not be served until 1:30PM.

Please be dressed and ready for the Sintra Jeep Tours, there will not be time to change at Penha Longa Hotel.

The buses will depart at exactly 10:00AM on Saturday morning.

Commercial buses are not allowed downtown, so the closest meeting point is a 6 minute walk from the Brown’s Hotels.

If you do not want to shlep your bags 6 minutes, we recommend using the metro, outside of Brown’s Hotel to the pick up location.

The metro is 1 minute walk from the Brown’s Hotels, departs every 6 minutes and the ride is approximately 1 stop & 1 minute long. Cost per metro ticket is 2 euros.

Pick up location for the bus ride to Sintra is: Praca Dos Restauradores (FARMÁCIA ESTÁCIO). See photos below.

Please arrive before 9:45AM. You will be given luggage tags to place on your bags with the last name on the reservation at Penha Longa Hotel.

The bus ride is approximately 40 minutes long.

ARRIVAL AT PENHA LONGA HOTEL 11:00AM:

Penha Longa Hotel will store everyone’s luggage and bags in a private conference room. Once the jeep tours are done, the luggage will be brought to you and check in will begin.

There will be a quick time to use the restrooms, get water and touch up in the lobby prior to the Sintra Jeep Tours beginning promptly at 11:30AM at Penha Longa Hotel.

BEGINS AT PENHA LONGA HOTEL. TIMELINE: 11:30AM-3:30PM

Each Jeep can accommodate up to 8 people. One front seat available with the tour guide. The tour guides are extremely interactive and knowledgeable!

-The road is fairly smooth and the jeep is very secure. You will not get dirty.

-Please apply sunscreen, have sunglasses, and comfortable attire/shoes. You can bring a bag to leave on the jeep at all time.

-We will see famous landmarks, the beaches, Monasteries, the Sintra National Forest and have an optional drop off in downtown Sintra for Port Wine tasting and exploring.

-Lots of photo ops!

-Lunch is provided at 1:30PM half way through the tour.

Lunch includes: Portuguese cheeses, ham, charcuterie boards, roasted chorizo and morcilla, bread, olives, nuts, fresh fruit, portuguese desserts, juices, water, 4 varieties of portuguese wines.

-If you would like to be dropped off in Downtown Sintra, we encourage you to explore the city. Note- you will have to find your own transportation back to Penha Longa (Uber is 8 minutes). If you wish to check in and relax prior to the welcome party, your guide will drop you directly off at Penha Longa.

TIMELINE: 7:00PM-10:00PM

Mercatto Restaurant, second floor up the grand staircase inside Penha Longa Hotel. Transportation is not provided for those staying off property.

-Dinner, dancing, beer & wine provided.

Please use the morning to explore and relax. Grab a tee time for golf, use the spa, relax at one of the many resort pools, gym, Michelin star restaurants, walk around the property (ask the front desk for the long & short trail options).

INCLUDED TRANSPORTATION:

Please head down to the lobby around 4:30PM.

-The buses will depart to the wedding venue around 4:45PM.

-If you are not staying at Penha Longa Hotel, please arrange an Uber to Casa Dos Penedos

WEDDING DETAILS:

Ceremony is outside, cocktail hour is both outside & inside, and dinner & dancing are both inside. It gets chilly at night, bring a shoulder cover if you get cold.

-There is an open bar service during dinner, please request a drink from your server.

-Vegetarian/vegan options are going to be served to those who requested.

Ubers are readily available if you need to leave before.

Brunch is included for those staying at the hotel, we will have an area blocked off to say goodbye. Eric & Ashley cannot guarantee they will be in attendance based on the night before :)
