Our Wedding

We've been together for a while (over six years per the timeline in the Photos section). Our life together feels very settled--we have the house, the dog, the disc collection. We're in our forties and we've already seen each other through some major highs and lows. Neither of us feel beholden to the societal tradition of marriage. We are largely indifferent about the legal benefits it brings, though we know it is likely imprudent to not take precautions. In all honesty, we love our life as it is and planning a wedding is a lot of work. So... why are we getting married now? The older we get, the more clearly we see how transient our lives, this life is. With that perspective, every moment with each other and those we care about becomes so much more precious. We can think of nothing we would love more than to share an evening with you, the people we hold dearest to our hearts, celebrating a moment together, celebrating our love for each other, and remembering that what we have might not seem like much to the world, but it's everything to us. And we're so grateful for all of it. And for that reason, we would be so honored if you, our dearly beloved, would join us on our wedding day.

Join us for a round of disc golf at a beginner-friendly course! We will provide the discs. What to bring:- comfortably clothes and athletic shoes- water bottle- sun protection (e.g., hat, sunglasses, sunscreen)
