Cenotes - there are thousands of these amazing little watering holes all around the Yucatan. Many are close to Tulum, some even within walking distance from town! You can swim, snorkel, and even scuba dive at many of the spots.

This linked blog goes through 15 of the tops cenotes near Tulum: READ BLOG

Feel free to reach out and ask us for any suggestions or dive shops if interested!

Chichen Itza - one of our favorite ruins we've been to! Highly suggest making the trip here if you've never been before. It's about a 2 hr drive from Tulum. You can drive there if you have a car, go on a private or open tour, or take the bus there from town.

ATV/Adventure Parks - offroad, zipline, and visit underground cenotes all in one adventure. Typically a 1/2 day tour. We have booked with this company before.

Tulum Ruins - located right next to the beach in Tulum, very easy to get to.

Beach - there are plenty of different areas you can go along the coast, the beaches are public with private areas for hotels. The beach is about 3 miles from the Aldea Zama area depending on where you're coming from/going to.

Beach Hotels - there are several nice hotels located directly on the beach where you can get drinks/food, hang out, go to a nightclub, etc...

A few we like...

Casa Malca (Pablo Escobar's old house, now an extremely nice hotel)

Nomade

Papaya Playa Project

Kanan Tulum - very cool sunset baar spot

Walking around town - lots of fun shops and restaurants to check out in town. The town is pretty small, you can walk/bike the entire area.

Holistika - a really cool hotel dedicated to art, yoga & wellness services. Go there for a yoga class or drop by for breakfast/coffee and stroll around their art walk. Very unique!

Our Favorite Bars & Restaurants -

Kitchen Table - one of our all-time favorite restaurants in Tulum! Located on the beach road.

Tulumunchies - a fun spot for happy hour with a variety of food trucks/food options. Best drink deals in the beach area.

Akuma Tiger Sushi - a super legit sushi spot located (in town)

Batey Mojito & Guarapo Bar - fun spot to grab a signature mojito and listen to live music at night. (in town)

Don Cafeto - typical Mexican food for locals & tourists, BIG portions. (in town)

Cara Feliz - a cool little bookstore to grab a coffee

Encanto Cantina - a nice dinner spot, with good outdoor vibes. (in town)

Taqueria La Chiapaneca - VERY local/casual spot to grab street tacos as cheap as it gets. (in town)

Taqueria Honorio - our FAVORITE tacos we've had anywhere, a must stop!! (in town)
