It All Started With A Swipe!
Ashley and Shannon met the “new fashion” way. If you have not figured it out by now then no one will tell you how. They shared their first date the way they’ve spent many Saturdays to follow; brunch, Target, Bath and Body Works, and then dinner. Neither wanting to end the date decided to extend it…into forever.

31Oct2023 Ashley proposed to Shannon at the North Carolina Museum of Art with a spooky theme. Halloween being Shannon’s favorite holiday Ashley decided that it would be the perfect way to express her love and commitment in front of Shannon’s siblings and a couple close friends.

14Nov2023 two weeks after Ashley proposed and two years after their first date Shannon proposed to Ashley in
Riviera Maya, Mexico. Under the guise of Shannon’s birthday/the couples anniversary trip, Shannon planned a private gazebo proposal and dinner for their final evening. Despite the many questions of whether Shannon would cancel the planned proposal since she’d been proposed to she in short said “Ashley deserved a proposal all on her own”.
