Downtown Golden, an area packed with small town charm & local hot spots like Windy Saddle Café, Woody’s Pizza, and Miners Saloon. Take a walk along the river, or stroll through the many stores on the main strip.

If you want to see some real Colorado views without having to hike very far, take a drive up Loveland Pass! There is a small parking area at the top with trails that walk even farther up on both sides, if you want a challenge! You will need a rental car, and it is about 1 hour away from the hotels.

If you are susceptible to high elevations, the top of the pass goes up to 12,000ft, so this ride is probably not for you.
