We have requested a block on several rooms at a hotel near the venue. We have a LOT of out-of-town family and friends so please, if you are local, let our travelers scoop those up first. See the "Travel" page for hotel information and let us know if you have questions! We definitely want everyone to be safe and close by if you don't plan on heading home after the wedding.
Where do we park?
There is a small parking lot next to the venue, which will likely fill up pretty quickly. We have been told that it is okay to park lining the street in front of the venue. We would love to encourage carpooling and Uber/Lyft to save room and support maximum partying :)
What is the dress code?
We can't wait to see our family and friends dressed up for our big day. Dress to impress in formal cocktail attire-- Fall colors encouraged! Please, no jeans. The venue is indoor/outdoor and we all know how Texas weather is all over the place (did anyone else wear a t-shirt on Christmas last year?), so we would suggest layers!
Can I bring a guest or date?
Our venue is pretty intimate with a limited amount of space and a guest limit. For this reason, we are unable to accommodate anyone who is not formally invited. If you have a "+1" on your invitation and decide to bring someone, you will be able to RSVP for your guest at the same time as yourself. Thank you for understanding!
What if I can't make it?
You will be dearly missed! If you can't make it to the wedding, please let us know ASAP so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!
Can I take pictures?
We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be present with us and give our photographer the chance to capture the best photos, which will be shared with you! For the reception, we are looking into a fun way for everyone to take pictures that will all end up in one place. We want to see our day through your eyes!
Will there be an open bar?
Yes! The drinks are provided, but the hangover is on you. Again, we would like to encourage Uber/Lyft or carpooling with a designated driver. Please, please plan for safety!
