Skylar and Sarah became friends while working in a hotel restaurant almost a decade ago. They bond over music, stupid jokes on the internet, and a mutual love for plants and animals. Even though they met as adults, they feel like they grew up together and have known each other forever. Sarah is the best auntie to kitties Lemon and Boi, puppy Frankie, and the (in)famous old man pup, Scooter.

Lucy is Skylar's cousin on her dad's side. They are two peas in a pod and have shared a strong, sisterly bond since their days of playing mermaids in the pool or building massive forts in the playroom. Lucy impresses Skylar on a daily basis as she grows and plans to take on the world, pursuing her teaching certification. Lucy and her boyfriend, Jake live in San Antonio with their husky, Noble, and their precious kitty, Sasha.

Caitlyn is Skylar's cousin on her mom's side. They are both only children who grew up very close with each other, with Skylar often babysitting Caitlyn on long, summer days where they made up dances to Jonas Brothers songs in the pool, played Wii games, and watched Hannah Montana. Skylar loves watching Caitlyn's hard work pay off as a working student and mother to two happy pups, Clover and Nugget.

Danni is Skylar's future sister-in-law, married to Ashley's brother, Dustin. They have grown close through many family gatherings and enjoy trading seeds and cuttings from their gardens. Skylar loves to be around Danni with her sweet smile and the four rambunctious boys that Skylar will soon get to call her nephews (DJ, Dexter, Devan, and Dallas).

Ashley and Myrissa have been friends for many years, even living together as roommates in several apartments. When the two get together, the room is filled with laughter, dancing, good food, and some colorful language. Myrissa and Ashley share a friendship in which either one would do anything for the other. Myrissa is the mother of Wes the pit bull, our dog Frankie's "boyfriend."

Aleaya is Ashley's niece (Dustin's daugher) and a near copy-and-paste of Ashley. The pair love each other fiercely and show it through a balanced combination of tenderness and tough love. Aleaya and her girlfriend, Meaghan are moms to two kitties named Jericho and Arthur, and Frankie's favorite doggie playmate & cousin, Comet.

Derek is Ashley's oldest brother. He's her favorite mechanic, although he's not very helpful from all the way in Florida. Derek is 8 years older than Ashley, who fondly remembers when he worked at Sonic and would bring root beer floats home to her. Derek and his wife, Bridgette, live in Florida with their 4 kids (Dominic, Brielle, Brody, and Brady) and 2 pups (Benny and Fancy). We can't wait to see them all in November!

Dustin is Ashley's older brother and basically the male version of Ashley. Years ago, Ashley worked under him as his apprentice and recently the master journeyman has donated many hours of his time to updating Skylar and Ashley's new home. Dustin is Danni's husband and the two live in Caddo Mills with 4 of their kids, 3 dogs (Buster, Penny, and Ayla), 2 birds (Sonic and Tails), and a three-legged bearded dragon (Lizzy).

Diane is Skylar's step-sister (although they prefer to omit the "step" part). Diane's dad married Skylar's mom when the girls were already adults, and the two have built a sisterhood over the years sharing family dinners and game nights, celebrating each other's special days and accomplishments, and growing through the seasons of life. Skylar has asked Diane to officiate the wedding and is very excited to have her sister involved in such a meaningful way. Diane and her husband, Aaron, live in Fort Worth with their two sweet pups, Cosmo and Rey.
