Open house style event - space is available to us at 6p, but if you can't show up until 8p or need to leave at 7p, do what you need to! We're not planning on speeches or anything that you especially need to be there for.
Food/beverage ideas for Saturday
Dame's Chicken & Waffles is amazing but they get very busy so be prepared. The Sage Mule is a good no-fuss breakfast/brunch spot. Hops Burger Bar has two locations in Greensboro.. pay attention to their special burger that day because goodness they're consistently fantastic. Red Oak Brewery is about 20min east of downtown Greensboro and is a staple local beer with some German-style food options.
Fresh air ideas for Saturday
Park at the Tanger Family Bicentennial Garden and cross the road to explore the sweet botanical garden. Or, park at the Frank Sharpe Jr Wildlife Education Center and walk the Owl's Roost Trail.. it's about 5mi, but not a challenging trail and has beautiful scenery.
Any dress code recommendations?
Cocktail attire, please! Ladies -- the ceremony is in the grass so stilettos are not recommended unless you are especially skilled. That being said.. wear whatever makes you feel like a dime - no need to subdue any of your sparkle. It's why we love all of you!!
How will Saturday start?
When you turn into Summerfield Farms, The Market will be on your right first, immediately followed by The Barn on the left. Parking will be in the grass in front of you. Our ceremony is tucked back farther on the property - you're either welcome to the brief walk or there will be golf carts available to bring you back.
