What are the wedding colors?

Chianti and gold

What time should you arrive to the ceremony?

The ceremony is set to begin at 1:30pm. Therefore, we request our guests to arrive earlier than the start time (i.e. 1:15pm).

What are the dinner options?

The options to choose from for dinner are the following: cast iron chicken, bistro filet mignon (medium), halibut duxelle, and a vegetarian option.

What is the dress code for the ceremony and reception?

Formal attire or black-tie optional

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Both the ceremony and reception are being held indoors. The ceremony is at St. Joseph Marello Parish and the reception at the Hilton in Scranton.

Will transportation be provided to and from the ceremony?

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide mass transportation for everyone to and from the ceremony. Uber and Lyft both are available in the area for those needing transportation to the reception.

Are kids invited?

Although we adore your children, we hope you will understand our decision to make the wedding children-free and can still celebrate with us on our special day.

Will parking be available?

Parking is free at the church for the ceremony, with plenty available for all guests. Parking at the Hilton for our reception is as follows: Overnight guest parking fee is $15.00 per vehicle per night in the Medallion or Casey Garage. Guests attending the wedding reception only will receive complimentary parking (validate with front desk).

Is there an open bar?

Our reception will have an open bar for all to celebrate on our special day. It will be a cash bar if attending the night before for Welcome Drinks and also for the After Party following the reception.

Is there a time gap between the ceremony and reception?

There will be a small time gap between the end of our ceremony and cocktail hour. You can utilize this time to make your way over to our reception venue, check into your hotel room if needed or mingle with our other guests.

Are pictures allowed during the ceremony?

We are opting for an unplugged ceremony so everyone can fully enjoy the moment with us and allow the professional photographers to take pictures, which we will make available once posted. However, we welcome and encourage pictures to be taken at the reception.
